Anybody can write. Anybody can expand their vocabulary by reading on top of years of wisdom and knowledge. Anybody can study the thesaurus and get familiar with a dictionary’s script. Anybody can write, but it takes a soul to be a writer— to speak volumes of depth and puncture wounds that have been forgotten and healed. It takes a nomad, a gypsy, a person who has been everywhere at once and can morph into anybody and yet still feels so alone. It takes an uncanny amount of mistakes and fuck up’s and even more forgiveness. S/he is not angry, is not sad, is not happy nor is s/he vindictive with a vendetta. A writer just is.
